Mommy took care of it, and buy the time I was there to help she had control, then I went away and it started again. As soon as I ran back up the stairs they were off. It was a great game they were attempting to play with me.

Today we went to the park, we went to her second state track meet, and played out front.

Eden was rocking the Navy blue Track Suit, and she has learned to walk, I am slow to report this about a week late. Last time I told someone she had it figured out she went to her butt & crawling for about another month. This is new as of a few days (week) ago but she is now walking well, from thing to thing, without things, and able to pick stuff up off the ground without falling on her kiester.
She also has a tooth coming in but won't let me take a pic of it for the blog.
We rocked the track suit as a family at the state track meet today. Then in the yard we played cops and kept the idea going. Her are a few of the photos that I took today.

The ADAMS FAMILY BLOG - Here is the deal for anyone that has not checked out the links yet, Jamison, Karen, and Bryan Adams have copied us and made their own BLOG. They however try to update it frequently (better then I). Most of the time they do a better job at blog design as well (teacher becomes the student). However as much as I dislike this he has come up with a great idea~~~ A daddy support group, and I agree the proposal of the daddy support group for us innocent fools that have gotten into this could meet at the lamberty household on Monday the 16th. I now this is soon!! Get of your Asses!

This mission and goals:

We would meet and discuss all the issues us New Dads, Dads to be, and Experienced Dads could learn from. Us with 13 month olds walking, talking, and far superior to all other children, could explain how to raise the best children ever. How to raise your child to extreme intelligence and get yours this way will be the subject of the first meeting. Those with more experience then could share their experience. We could get rid of the Ladies on Monday Nights once a week, every other Monday, Once a month, whatever we decide. This might not mean much now but wait a few months and think. I better stop before I get too excited about the fall and winter possibilities.

The basic rules of D.A.D. are:
* Each dad must provide 1 6-pack of micro or foreign beer-PER CHILD IN ATTENDANCE- (you deserve more if your wife is picking you up anyway)
* The Host must be able to make buffalo wings (this is a must for any man and for sure any dad)
* Must have a child and like sports to be in attendance
* Football knowledge is necessary (Vikings wear purple, Gophers wear Maroon, Lakers wear Purple, will do)

* Pledge allegiance to DAD as the ultimate source of fatherhood responsibility.

The D.A.D. rules are subject to interpretation, but I believe the first meeting is where we can hammer out the details.

If necessary all D.A.D. proposed members are welcome at Wing Ding 6 to Hammer out the details.

On birthday morning Eden had some hugs from daddy and daisy

So the little girl needed a bath and we could find no place better to do it but with some over dressed people in a big tub. But then the guy in white only would let us pour water on her.

She seemed to like it okay however because after she was all smiles and waves, and boy did she smell better.
So much better in fact that all were bowing to our existence. It was very humbling experience. I like it when all bow of QUEEN EDEN.

The queen will be in your neck of the woods soon, she expects the same treatment at all times. ALL HALE QUEEN EDEN!!!

Eat Froggy, sometimes treats are not just for kids. The little Hoover in our house is willing to share with whomever is around, frog, dog, rabbit, whatever.

So we are house sitting the crazy little dog again and today not only did it let a couple squirts on the floor it decided to poo on the carpet.

My little vacuum cleaner decided to give it a try! What the hell it is on the floor I should put it in my mouth. UMMMMMM, wait this smells a little funny, this is not the best treat I have found on the floor, wait what is this? Hum, hopefully one shot at this is all that was necessary because it was sure gross for the rest of us. Look close at least I got a shot of the shit before it hit the fan!

To get even, Eden left a bag of dirty stinky diapers accessible for the little white Hoover of a dog. And without any hesitation she opened a couple up and decided to make her and Eden POOP SISTERS. Now that they have shared that with each other I am totally grossed out.

the snow was fun and eden had a good time with bella and alex making the snow hockey players and the snow octopus, lately I have been demonstrating my ability to crawl and play with my toys.

Lots of fun hiding behind my doors and playing with the indoor and outdoor ideas. I can sneak out from behind the door and see what everyone else is, sometimes I am looking at daisy!

It is hard to get out from behind all of these toys from time to time.
but I am up for the challenge.

Christmas started with the girls performing at church, and alex sleeping as a cow! Couldn't get a good picture of this he is of course very camera shy and slept very peacefully behind the stage. Christmas eve night was lots of fun with a great meal, and some great gifts.

Christmas day was a quick stop to see the kids open gifts and eat breakfast, and another great meal in Northfield.

Eden has been a lot of fun the last couple weeks so I thought I would share. She sometimes talks very loud, almost some would say screaming!!! Others might say she is voicing her opinion in a masterful way. Usually about eating and sleeping and sometimes pooping. She likes to blowout her diaper and have it all up her back, I took a photo but it got blocked out. Mom says this is not an appropriate subject to discuss here but I think if it happens it is necessary to talk about.

She is so dang cute we had to disguise her. Right now I am giving up her old disguise, but we have another so you won't recognize her walking down the street.

Well today Eden and I went for a walk. We walked all along and down by the creek. We played in the trees and saw some wild life. For the sake of this story Ducks count as wild life!!!
Eden really enjoyed the walk and wanted to play with some more wild animals when she got home.

So after a little nap she was ready to play with her friends the cow, bunny, and big dog in her crib, while learning how to turn on the mobile with her feet. She has also started waving hello and sometimes good-bye when waved and talked to accordingly.

I am still trying to capture a video of this but so far have been very unsuccessful.

A visit and a pumpkin

Well it has been some time so I thought I would put a bunch of photos up. This is the great pumpkin baby. She is ready to have a great Halloween. This she is also looking for a birthday outfit, for Grandpa's and Auntie's Birthdays coming up soon. She thought for a second she could do the birthday as a pumpkin just to get in the fall mood.

However after thinking about it for a few minutes she changed her mind.

2 month check-up

Eden had her two month check-up yesterday, it went smooth, she smiled and laughed even through the shots. HA HA, no she didn't but was mostly calm all day long after. She even slept well last night. The Doc. says that we have a healthy child, 90% in weight, 80% in head size, and 75% in height, so she is stocky, there is nothing wrong with stocky. There are many famous stocky people,

The Nightmare on my street

"Good morning said Eden as she woke up on Marni's Birthday, "what is all the Commotion about?" With a big stretch she opened her eyes and to her surprise the whole world had turned

black and white, this was very scary because being only seven weeks old this color thing is new and very exciting.

She tried to squeeze her eyes tight and while her eyes were closed she saw all the wonderful colors come back.

Will they be there when I open my eyes again?

Eden knew the colors were back but
"they have moved behind me and I can't see them."

After a short time Eden jumped back into the crib and was very happy with the result of the colors until she saw The Evil Grandmother coming to get her.

This was scary seeing grandma holding me so flimsy. "I was nervous and scarred the whole time" said Eden.

She again Closed her eyes, and poof I was back in my bed, as she woke

Eden realized it had all just been a bad dream.

And she prayed it would not happen again...... The End

Fathers Day

It was a great day for fathers day, we had so many fathers here to visit. First we had ME! Then my Dad and Grandpa, Edens' other Grandpa (BOB), the Neighbor, and Uncle Chris and his family, and Evan but he doesn't have any kids. He is an uncle that likes holding on to Eden and between my parents and brother they almost fight over who gets to hold the Eden the most.

However I did not download any new pictures, but did manage to spend some time playing with with ones that were already on the computer. Boy what a cute little girl, and then Daisy was turned into the ghost.

It was a lot of fun having so many people here to visit and spend the day with all the members of our families. Thanks for the visit.

I am not exactly sure what this is about and by the looks of it Eden isn't either.

This week Eden had lots of excitement, she got to see Bella play soccer, she spent a couple hours with daddy at the state track meet, (mom made her wear her Adidas outfit, errrr I mean one of her Adidas outfits) She was very cute all day but tended to stay sleeping for all but the most noisy times. She did meet the state champ in the 2 Mile and was really impressed with her. She saw senior awards night, and she got to see dad get all dressed up for Graduation. I really couldn't tell which picture of her was better so I put them both in. This is just before I left for Senior Graduation and she was a little upset I had to go.

Tonight we took some pics of her in the Pack and Play actually Playing!!! This is usually the source of contempt and immediate anger instead she kicked her feet, swung her arms, made loud noises.... wait maybe this is not playing maybe she was trying to kick and scream her way out. And look at what she did to the poor little lamb, she could be a kicker of some sort someday. As a famous Waterboy Quote goes "None of that Foolsball" So it might have to be another ball sport. She has also been to see Senior day at Softball, and quite a few JV baseball games at the park this spring maybe she will be a swinger, with a bat that is. It must be past my bed time now, hope these pictures are worth the wait.

Bad Blogger

From my own point of view I have been very bad at this, I look at a few blogs that are updated almost by the minute, and then ours which is updated not so often. I will try to do better. So far things Eden has experienced in her first month have been great and varied. She while not a world traveler yet has cover most of the metro. She has been to fastpitch & lacrosse games, she has been to a high school, she has gone to graduation parties, and of course to the mall. She has taken many walks in her stroller, baby bjorn, the jogger (her chariot) which she likes and with its baby carrier actually likes sleeping in outside of the jogger. She loves to drive and drive and drive, and sometimes she actually seems to like it when we stop. Her baby seat is a very multipurpose device, however it has proven difficult to carry her, two latte's, and gifts for others at the same time. Here are some of the most current pictures:

Eden is 3 weeks old today, she has started to do things as far as I know are normal, she is kind of responsive when she hears noises, she opens her eyes and seems to be watching Marni and I. Otherwise everyday is something new.

Eden says happy mothers day like this! ah-ug-glug-ahhha-um-glug-humph!

She is right now struggling with a very severe case of the hiccups, which are loud and violent. I think she kind of likes it however, because she does have a huge smile on her face. Even though the doctors say smiles at this age are just a reflex. I think she knows what a smile is for; making dad say "anything you want honey."
She won't be spoiled.

Well so far everything is going as planned. The duck has landed on the roof, (a very nice duck at that) and we are all doing great.

So far we would like to thank all of our guests for coming to visit. It has been so nice to make the day fly by in this little room. I have had the option to leave a few seconds here and there, Marni on the other hand can go into the bathroom and down the hall a couple of times a day. We hope to be at home tomorrow for everyone else that wants to visit.

We are only a couple of hours into this parent thing, except for being extremely sleepy, this is the greatest thing ever. Eden does nothing, we watch in amazement at how cute she is. She smiles, giggles, cries, yawns, farts, etc. WE Stare and smile at how cute she is. I am sure all parents feel this way, and I am sure the straight up perfection will fade. It was great having the grandparents here and even better when they affirmed our beliefs that Eden is the cutest thing ever, but then again that is what they have to do. Either way here are some more pictures for everyone to look at.

Well she is finally here, Eden Lamberty, born on April 30th at 5:17am. She is a mighty young women weighing in at 8lbs, 1oz. So far she seems very healthy and very comfortable around people. Here are some photos to show you how pretty she really is.

With hours of jumping down stairs, jumping jacks, wondering aimlessly around town and malls, the baby did not become a third generation 4-14 BABY. It was sad, but everything under the sun was tried to give me the greatest birthday present. O-well, now we are just hoping Mo doesn't get to uncomfortable. Her hands and feet are now all swollen up. Not so bad that it is painful, but big enough so that her rings, and shoes are tight. Daisy is getting very nervous that she will no longer be the center of our attention, but he have had some very nice conversations with her to explain what is going on.
Come on baby, come out where ever you are!
